The ASL as a Second Language Curriculum eCourse is part of the ASL as a Second Language Professional Development series. This course will focus on the structure and content of the ASL as a Second Language curriculum and how to use the curriculum to assist with teaching ASL in Ontario high schools. This course is taught by Heather Gibson, OCT. The course is geared toward current and future teachers teaching ASL as a Second Language (LASBO) in Ontario.
NOTE: Although the content of this course was developed specifically for teachers who will be teaching ASL in Ontario high schools, this course is open to anyone (e.g., teachers from other provinces, community members, etc.).
ATTENTION: Please be aware that there will be no formal certificates or credentials issued for the ASL as a Second Language Professional Development. However, you will receive a recognition of completion at the end of the course.
