The ASL as a Second Language Professional Development Series was created to support current and future teachers of ASL as a Second Language in Ontario high schools. The courses focus on curriculum and effective language teaching strategies. They are intended for participants who already have a strong foundation in ASL. These courses are designed to help you teach ASL, not to teach you ASL.
NOTE: Although this series was developed specifically for Ontario high school teachers, it is open to anyone interested in the content (e.g., teachers from other provinces, community members, etc.).
ATTENTION: Please note that no formal certificates or professional credentials will be issued for completing this professional development series. However, you will receive a recognition of completion for each course you complete. After completing all courses in the series, you will also receive a Certificate of Completion for the full series.
